A trip to Christ Church

When K.S told me she that she has booked a day trip for me to Chrict Church, I thought we will spend a day in Christ Church for some special church services, and the church is located just not far for the place where I stay (this is just what I persumed), O.K ! No problem I replied to her.

Two day before 22/7, I found out Christ Church is actaully a place where is located in Bournemouth, Oh! my god, I thought it just down the road !!!!!!!!!!!!! It was also excited to find out that about 8 Malaysians from home come along as well.

I was glad to get to know Khong and Yap's family on this day trip, they are from Kuala Lumpur, where is also my home town. As you know I just spent one month holiday at home, still feel very very very homsick and also miss the local food (this was the main reason), so to show them my hospitality (Ha ...........) in England, I took this opportunity to prepare some foods for this trip. I only can cook simple food ,(Nowaday thank to the ready made package sauce which is my good kitchen helper, if you do not mind to eat a bit of MSG occasionlly), it took me 1 hrs 30 minutes to prepare B.B.Q chickens, sea food udon noodles, yellow chicken rice and hainaniss rice. Surprised ! All these food enough for 10 people, and still have some left over. Actaully I am not a bad cook !!!!!!!!!!!!.

It took about 3 hours to go to Christ Church, the delayed was due to heavy traffic in M25 and heavy rain on the way. Thank God ! when we arrived the destination, the rain just disappear (someone has booked the weather for us !!!!!!!!!!!!!). Some people went for boat trip, some went for historical garden trip, we chose the second one. According to some people who chose the boat trip, and without checking properly, all of them got into the wrong boat (thank god there is still don't have any pirate's boat around England yet) Shame!!!!!!!!! at the end they have to pay double boat fees.

You can check more information via internet about Christ Church in Bouremouth. Actually this place is quite nice, I will go there again for overnight trip.

Glad to get to know new people especially Khong and Yap's family in this day trip, and also meet up with other from Barnet fellowship . Cheers ! Mum (Diane's mum), you looked like enjoying a big and tasty strawberry. Careful ! Jonathan, don't drop into the river (sat in ducking stool).
