This was the Christmas party in 2005. I was kind of out of my mind to say 'Yes' to Wilda to accompany her to attend the Christmas party. She got a plan, she asked her cousin to help us for make up and hair do. At least I looked nice, not looked like any celebrity in town, Ha.............!!!!
I really enjoyed this Christmas party, so I attended the next one as well.....................
Christmas Party 2006, Marissa, Mariam and me, three of us have same make up as you can see.........same white eyes shadow (just like three polar bears). We looked nice when stand alone, but when stand together, people just said that must be same person did our make up, so what ........................!!!! Yes, Mariam's sister, Yvonne, did our make up for these time, I prefer to have same colour rather than no make up. Actually we looked really nice.................thank Yvonne.
I did my own make up for Mag's wedding, I got no choice because I could not find anyone to do it for me. I bought myself a set of make up and it also come with DVD to teach you how to make up. Before going to church, I did my own make up, I sat in front of the TV to paint my face instead of mirror. Look, at least I looked presentable, not too bad......

hm... altho i am a guy and don't do make-up, i do have a lot of girl friends. as in friends who are girls la. For good make up you need to get colours that can match your skin, the foundation, the blush and eveyrthing. asians' skin tone is really really different from that of europeans so it is not very advisable to get the same colour as them. Try the colour onto your hand before you buy it, if you think it looks great and not awkward then you can try it. Ask around, especially to those promoters, i think they will help you to choose... Or you can buy cosmetics only when you are back to Malaysia, coz the promoters here are more familiar with the cosmetics for asian skin. that's all i can advise, not an expert. lol!
oh btw u look great in tat pic, the make up is not bad at all, the 1 tat you had the same make-up as ur friends. hehe
Thank for your make up tips, when I go back home this October, I will buy cosmetics there and ask the promoters to teach me a few tips for make up. But for now, you have to wait and see after the wedding..............
I agree with Loo that you should test the products on your hand. It's an important step. Before making up, cleanse your face with washing cream. Then apply toner and moisturizer. After that, use sunblock if necessary. Next, apply liquid foundation, and powder or use two-way cake if you don't prefer liquid foundation. Now work on your eyebrow by placing eyebrow pencil in the middle of your eyebrow and colour your eyebrow accordingly. Also get some eye shadow which suit your skin colour and apply it around your eyes. I think blue and green don't suit you since you are quite fair. Use a color close to your skin colour. If you want to make your eyes look bigger, use eye liner to highlight the edge of your eyes. You can also use some masquara but don't exaggerate your eyes too much to come up with a more natural look. Lastly put some light red or pink cheek powder. So happy make-up.
Thank you for the step to step make up, I played with my make up on the wedding day, Joyce, my friend helped me a bit for my eyes area, actually it looked not too bad, and we saved about £30 to £40 to have someone to do it for us....
