Walking

Joyce (from Phillipine) and I both like walking, two of us went to Sicilly for one week walking holiday 3 years ago, since then we have been walking around few places in London (along the canal). The weather would not stop us from walking, and we did not mind rain or cold, because rain coat or umbrella or others well do. To be honest, not all the asian people like walking holiday, most of the people prefer city break or shopping trip, me and Joyce are the odd one among them.

This time we decided to walk from Uxibridge to Harefield along the canal, but we took the direction blindly, and then we ended up in Hyne instead of Harefield. Half way through we did asked people to confirm the direction, the guy said yes, yes, yes. When we discovered the wrong direction, we just have to carry on, and learned a lesson for the future that we should ask three people the same question instead of only one (if there have another soul to ask) !!!!!! Well it was quite a nice walk, a bit of shower here and there, not too wet. The whole journey about 7 1/2 miles, and we took about 2 hours to complete it.

I like to walk along the canal, and always dream to hire a boat for few days and sail around the canal from south to north, imagine it is going to be so nice and sensational, unfortunately this is not everyone cup of tea, therefore I still hoping one day someone will share my dream. Wait....till ........whoever interested please give me a ring, my mobile xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We picked the blackberries and tasted, oh my god it was so sour, straight away out of my mouth. Along the canal, besides you can enjoy the tranquility of the scenery, you also can find different type of plants and cute little ducking swimming in the canal.
Afterwards we went back to Joyce's nurses home. She is a good cook, and she always cook food for people whom visit her. We sat on the carpet and enjoyed her fried seafood noodle and fried chicken. We chatted......till 7pm, and then I headed back home. Thank you, Joyce, I have a lovely walk and day.
Actually my left knee was so painful after the walk, I was limbing on the way back home, luckily it was ok for the next day.

I do enjoy the peace of nature when there isn't much to do. I wish i could join you and your friend, Joyce. Can't tell you how i miss my walk back in Montana. Anyway, i don't really look for snow capped mountain and borderless clear blue lake, now even a small creek with some fishes around plus some green sight can really flatter me. How pathetic modern people are these days. Ohhh! Seafood noodles, what a mouth-watering dish. Estee, pls learn how to prepare the dish and cook for us when you are back in October.
